The first few times that it is taken can be frightening. Dizzy, light headed, vertigo are just a few of the side effects. It is great for sleep, but each dose lasts for 24 hours or more. I had difficulty sleeping before I bagan taking this stuff. Am I addicted to it as a sleeping medication? No question about it, I am. Let's face it melatonin and Benadryl are not good sleep meds, but they are the only OTC drugs out there for sleep except for this one. It works!!
