Hydrosoluble is a relative term. It takes a good 5 minutes of stirring before it goes into 8 oz water. I've switched to adding to my whey drink and it seems to dissolve a little better, but it imparts a sour/salty taste to anything you add it to. It doesn't seem to work any better or worse than regular creatine in my experience. Overall grade = B
