Have been on carnosine for a month, I was hoping that it will help me to train harder and longer. I did not feel any thing from it. I tried taking up to 1 gram before workout then I changed to mixing it with my During-workout-drink and also never felt any thing.
I heard that the body can’t absorb carnosine. And if you want to increase the carnosine in the muscle and really benefit from it, then you need to supplement with its precursors histidine and alanine separately. I heard much greater reviews on alanine and it is also much cheaper. Beta-Alanine will be my next choice |
