Just finishing up three week cycle (20, 30, 40) and have gained 15 lbs in those three weeks - started at 171 finished at 186. I've broken my records in every exercise. This is my first PH cycle and probably my last, for while I like the gains I also don't want to screw with my body too much - this was more an experiment than anything and a conservative one compared to all the other harsher chemicals out there. I've tried Vitrix, Formestane and Jungle Warfare, the latter being the only other that really seemed to do much. I have been lifting almost 4 years and am 31 years old.
I didn't feel any extreme aggression or sense of well-being, but I certainly had more energy in the gym and an unusual amount of strength that continued to increase day by day. My diet has been not just clean but impeccable for many years - low GI carbs (groats, brown rice, multi-grain pasta, quinoa, beans, lentils) plenty of whey (unflavored - no aspartame) some chicken, tuna, salmon and egg white (very little red meat) and good fats such as flax, fish and olive oil, brazil and walnuts, seeds, avocado. I also take an Animal Pak every day. No sugar, no coffee, no sweets, nothing fried - no garbage. I eat every 2.5-3 hrs as I have for many years now. Furthermore, I've done a Master Cleanse every winter for the past five years as an annual detox which has only made me that much more conscious of what I ingest and made me that much more strict. I highly recommend this detox despite the weight loss (10-15 lbs during a 10-day fast) though it's mostly fat and mucoid plaque from your digestive and intestinal systems. Sure, you lose some muscle, but your body reacts so much more efficiently to food and exercise afterwards that you gain everything back extremely fast. I feel great mentally and physically when fasting, but I digress…
I added Waximaize to my diet during the cycle and increased carbs and protein. I also moved mealtimes to every two hours. I highly suggest Waximaize in order to get the necessary amount of carbs to really put on some lean mass. It's like drinking water yet every scoop provides 40g complex carbs. I had a few cheat meals during the cycle (Chinese twice - Chix w broccoli and scarfed down a whole pizza one evening) but that's how hungry I was. I've gained no more than .5 inch on my waist during the cycle - the gains are that clean. I did back and triceps yesterday and couldn't button my shirt after an hour lifting - no joke the pumps were that insane. Never have I seen such drastic changes to my body in such a short amount of time.
As for ancillaries, I took Perfect Cycle twice a day and added some additional milk thistle. I've got Nolva for PCT and will take some Retain with Hyperdrol and probably add some maca and nettle root. Really haven't had any sides - a few zits and twice had a somewhat uncomfortable feeling in my situation for a fleeting second. I didn't sleep enough during the cycle and probably should have lifted light a few weeks before going in, for on the JW I was lifting heavy already so by the time I got to the Epi my joints were starting to ache from the constantly increasing loads I put on them. But hey, 15 lbs in three weeks almost all clean gains. I am not doing four weeks because 1) many people say the gains stop after three and 2) I like my clothes and don't want to have to buy bigger ones.
Epi is the real deal and if you have discipline with your diet and hit the gym hard (I do 4 days/week no longer than 1:15 each session) and get some solid sleep, you will be amazed. |
