Two days ago, I took Yohimbe Fuel and ended up in the Emergency Room for 4 hours as a result. I have taken many stimulants before, and never had many side effects at all. I have even taken Yohimbe Fuel before, although I would usually empty half the capsule before consuming it since I have read about serious consequences resulting from it's use, including heart attacks and deaths. This is what I nearly experienced after consuming about 1 1/2 capsules over a period of 2 hours. My heart began racing completely out of control, faster than anything I have ever felt before (I can honestly estimate that it was at least 130-140 beats per minute and I hadn't even had any kind of physical activity what so ever). While on my way to the hospital (I drove myself) my left arm, face, and my lips became numb and my vision blurred to the point where I felt I couldn't drive. I had increasingly severe chest pains and my heart felt ready to explode, I could hear it pounding in my ears. By the time I got to the hospital I felt like my whole body was going to explode. The nurse gave me an IV and offered to juice me with an intravenous dose of Valium. I must have been bad since I was later told that intravenous Valium is usually only given to people who are convulsing, spastic , or having a seizure. After an hour of observation, my heart rate and blood pressure finally began to come down, although it remained elevated for the remainder of the night. Yohimbe is very effective at increasing blood flow to the genitals (it produces a hard on without any sexual stimulation that lasts for a while) and improves workout capacity. I had one of my best runs ever while on it, although my heart did beat much faster, but not nearly as much as the other day. It seems to me that it is a very successful drug/supplement, but using it might kill you, which it has done already to some people. There is a very small difference between an effective dose and a deadly one. It is not worth the risks, and in my opinion should never be used. If you choose to use it, BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!!!!! |
