Since Glucuronolactone occurs naturally in the human body, it's a supplement that doesn't cause a 'crash' later in the day, like caffeine does. Honestly, it doesn't matter whether I take 1/4 or a whole teaspoon - I feel the mood boost immediately, and it's enough to get my workout started.
I workout in the AM. Wake up at 4, and I'm lifting by 5am in the gym. With Glucuronolactone, I can get right to lifting. Caffeine helps give me more strength, but at the moment I'm cutting out my caffeine so I can hole on to more water in my body - I'm training to run a marathon - and I can get my morning lift session done with good results strictly with Glucuronolactone to give me that mood boost.
