What is Krill Oil?
Krill are tiny crustaceans that live in oceans around the world. Krill eat
algae that produces the bright red pigment astaxanthin. Astaxanthin gives krill
and other crustaceans such as lobster and shrimp their reddish-pink color.
What is Astaxanthin?
Astaxanthin, unlike some carotenoids, does not convert to Vitamin A in the
human body. Too much Vitamin A can be toxic but astaxanthin is not. Astaxanthin
is a powerful antioxidant, up to 10 times more than other carotenoids.
Astaxanthin is also an excellent source of omega-3 esssential fatty acids EPA and DHA.
Meridian Naturals KriaXanthin™ Krill Oil offers cardiovascular and immune system
support. It is also known to increase energy and protect the retina from
oxidative damage. Because Meridian Naturals uses KriaXanthin, you can be assured no solvents
were used in extracting the oil. All processing is done on Antarctic fishing vessels.

Suggested Use:As a dietary supplement, for adults, take
two (2) softgels 1-2 times daily or as directed by a physician.
