How do I take NP2?
NP2 should be taken twice per day. The first dose is generally early (i.e. prior
to breakfast) and the second should be taken in the evening. If possible, NP2
should be taken 30 minutes prior to workout. People weighing less than 200 pounds
should take 3 capsules per serving, while people more than 200 pounds should
take 4 capsules twice per day. Do not exceed 4 capsules at one time.
Why is this "Anti-Hydroscopic Stabilization Matrix" so unique to
NP2?
To understand why this stabilization matrix is important, we first must understand
what happens when it is not used in a product containing L-AKG. L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate
is a substance that reacts with water, even water in the air. When L-AKG is
pressed into a tablet form, the tablets can become very soft and easily broken
when exposed to the air, even if it is just for short periods of time. Many
companies, including IDS, have encountered chipped and/or broken tablets due
to this chemical reaction. Incorporating the all-new Anti-Hydroscopic Stabilization
Matrix (AHSM) into the manufacturing process ensures the structure of the NP2
tablet, thus allowing it to remain intact.
Can I stack NP2 with other supplements?
Absolutely you can stack other products with NP2. In fact, the increased blood
flow aggrandizes the uptake of your creatines, prohormones, and proteins. NP2
increases the amount of these products getting to the muscle as well as the
speed of their transit to the muscles. We do not recommend stacking any thermogenics
with NP2 because they are vasoconstrictors while the NP2 is a vasodilator. Therefore,
the products would counteract the effects of each other.
I have seen other "Nitric" products recently that contain creatine
in the tablets along with the Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate. Are they better
than NP2?
There is no doubt that creatine that is dissolved in water and ingested can
have its effects amplified by taking a Nitric product i.e. Creatine Titrate
Xtreme. However, adding creatine to the tablet containing the AKG will do very
little to improve performance and may actually increase your risk of side effects
such as cramping, headaches, bloating or diarrhea. You see, research has shown
that undissolved creatine, such as what is present in tablet form, is likely
to remain in the granular form in the digestive tract. The result is the body
may have a difficult time excreting it from the intestine. The resulting fluid
shift can result in these common, adverse side effects.
